Installation Guide:

Shaft must be clean & free of any coatings, paint, or other nonconductive material.
Bearing Protection Ring™(SGR) should not operate over keyway.
NOTE: Bearing Protection Ring microfibers should not come in contact with the keyway during operation.
Bore dimension for press fit must be SGR OD - 0.102mm (Bore tolerance +/- 0.025mm) for a dry crush fit. Refer to packing list for details.
Conductive MicroFibers™ must be in contact with conductive metal surface of the shaft.
No oils or other lubricants should be used to assist installation as this may prevent the conductive path to ground.
After installation, test for conductive path to ground using Ohm meter. One probe on metal frame of SGR and one probe on motor frame. NOTE: Motor must be grounded to common earth ground according to applicable standards.
CAUTION: SGR IS NOT A GROUND FAULT PROTECTION DEVICE.
