Electro Static Technology guarantees any new motor up to 100 HP / 75 kw will not fail from electrical bearing fluting damage for the expected normal bearing life of the original motor bearings when the AEGIS SGR™ Bearing Protection Ring™ is installed in accordance with the manufacturer’s guarantee requirements. If electrically induced fluting damage occurs, Electro Static Technology will replace motor bearings.

Conditions:

AEGIS SGR Bearing Protection Ring™ must be installed on the new motor in accordance with manufacturer’s instruction prior to motor being placed into service. AEGIS Performance Guarantee covers the original motors bearings installed by the motor manufacturer on a new motor only. Guarantee does not cover motors where AEGIS SGR Bearing Protection Ring™ was misused or improperly installed or where the motor shaft was not maintained with a conductive surface.
Electrically induced fluting damage must be verified by EST or an authorized entity to qualify for the bearing replacement. EST shall not be liable for greater than 35% of the original cost of the motor or the Vaughen’s National Average Price to furnish and install two (2) standard ball bearings, whichever is lower.
To qualify for the AEGIS SGR Bearing Protection Ring™ performance guarantee, new motors with AEGIS SGR Bearing Protection Ring™ installed must be registered within 30 days of placing the new motor into service. Proof of purchase is required. Register on line to qualify for this performance guarantee.
